Gardeners love Rudy ... he controls numerous garden pests.

Expert ambusher ... lethal killer of bugs substantially larger than he. How? Master of extra oral digestion - see the beak tucked under - that's a feeding tube (the rostrum) that delivers a lethal dosage of saliva into its prey that immediately begins liquifying its meal.

Master of laying in wait to attack quietly and quickly ... its all over before it begins.

This "take-home" meal is pre-digesting on the way to the table.
