Got The Bug

New toy ... more fun ... more road trips!!!

Just unwrapped a new Lightening Trigger and have been waiting for some storm chasing. This afternoon we had some Oklahoma thunderstorms and heavy rain. But there were a few lightening strikes mixed in and I was hopeful. Set up and waited and waited ... but that's part of the fun.

Patience.

The trigger detected twelve shots but most shrouded in rain or to distant. BUT, I did get lucky and got this shot ... my first effort at capturing lightening. There were few strikes and all were cloud-to-cloud flashes which are less dramatic than cloud to ground. All in all happy with this shot and not going home empty handed.

Eagerly waiting for the next big storm and ready to chase off!!!
