An Oklahoma Road Trip

Searching for new adventures ... over the next hill

Old Number 105

You can tell right off this side road is an oil field destination.

Make certain to shut off the spicket

Retired machine ... Case Farm Tractor ... thanks for many years

No passenger trains allowed here

Golden wheat store here

Stairway To Heaven

Church, circa 1901 - being restored - magnificent inside.

Speaking about unexpected finds ... an Oklahoma submarine ... wow.

Real antique heaven - rural, less travel America.

Pass with care

My dear old friend Mr. Larry Jensen - in my old GM days, I'd leave my big-city GM dealers to come to rural America to get my head back on straight ... they did business the old fashioned way - they earned it with their reputation.

Long time empty.

Trains and grain ... great place to explore!

"Come on up and let me buy yer cotton"

Boxcar dog

Tune up special by appointment.

Gone and forgotten ... but for the wind.

"You can trust your car to the man who wears the star, the big red Texaco star"

I named this - "Post With No Gate"

Named after Charlie Russell's - "Waiting For A Chinook or The Last of Five Thousand"
