4th of July Fireworks - all set up: good location, tripod, manual settings, ready to experiment long exposures ... just waiting for the show to begin. The first shots captured - ecstatic for more that is forthcoming - then my error. I learn from my mistakes - took my beautiful Angel with me and after the first shells exploded, well, she was terrified to say the least. What to do? Keep shooting as planned or comfort my little freightened cocker spaniel? I shut the camera off. Maybe next year.
