"Hey, City Boy" Some Excitement

Wednesday ... month-end closings ... rush to finish ... stress ... coupled with cold weather ... I gotta get out of here. So I took my peanut butter and jelly sandwich and braved the elements of nature at nearby Martin Nature Park - unwind dave and enjoy. Nobody else crazy enough to sit outside and eat their lunch, except me. But, ohh, what you can see if you just take the time to look. So I did.

One tree refusing to surrender its beauty ... why? For me of course ... thank you.

Red leaf survivor ... the smell in the air was delicious. Alone.

A friend flitering by to share my lunch.

Surprise. A special treat to those who explore. My reward.

Time to go. Next time ...

Waiving goodbye, whitetail.

Goodbye, Martin Nature Park ... thanks for lunch break and ready to go tackle work

Excellent Country.

Just outside the door.

Getting ready to venture outside the "door".

"These boots were made for walkin ... and that's just what they'll do"

If you look closely, there is a wolverine right under this limb. Brave shot, Emily - "was it worth the risk"

First Hard Frost

Cold Sunday morning walk ... good thing I have my duck call.

The blackbird whirled in the Autumn wind.

Leaf line.

Another nut braving the cold.

Better than sitting on your butt at home watching the tube.

See

Sea Bass

Next years weeds.

"Do Nots"

Saved for me to see and keep ... thanks Chisom Lake
