A Gathering of Men

The striped barber pole has it's origins as an ancient symbol of bloodletting. Early barbers were highly respected as chiefs, clergy and surgeons. Come on in and get your hair cut, men.

Rick, head barber.

A "regular" haircut ... no fancy styling here.

Little feet.

Little men.

First haircuts.

Dad watches.

A big chair (with booster seat) for a young man.

Hold still, careful.

Straight.

Matching sides.

That wasn't so bad  ... was it.

Looking good.

Next victim (after watching older brother in the chair).

Mom and Rick get into the battle.

The Clippers ... approach. Scary to a three year old.

Gentle restraint.

Rick succeeds.
